Definition of Love Essay Samples
Definition of Love Essay SamplesMany students nowadays are turning to college essays to add variety to their curricula. An essay sample is one of the most powerful tools students have to make their educational experiences fun and effective. The definition of love is an individualistic phenomenon. In this field, where personal feeling predominates over research, teachers must make sure that each student has at least one and preferably more. One of the problems with a traditional essay is that many students don't know how to create their own. Therefore, the best thing you can do for yourself is to ask a close friend or relative to help you out in writing the love letter. This way, you will be able to learn how to write love letters by heart. You will also be able to talk about your personal feelings on it. Instead of writing in a dry manner, try writing in a vivid manner that shows what you are feeling and thinking. One of the most important aspects of writing love letters is to write the m as if they were to be your last words. It is very painful to lose someone whom you love, so try to write your love letter as if you were giving the letter to the person whom you loved. Write the rest of the letter as if you were reading it back to yourself. This will make the letter more meaningful and will ensure that you are expressing true feelings to your loved one.Another important thing you should remember when writing a love letter is that you should include some sort of a thank you note. The fact that you will have to write a thank you note for your loved one makes you want to write a more meaningful and sincere letter. It is always a good idea to always be grateful for the good things in life. However, most schools will ask you to include a student's education in the essay. This means that the course of your life will also be included in the letter since it is the last one you will read before you graduate from high school. The definition of love is sometimes confusing for students who tend to think that everyone who loves you must have the same name. However, there are different terms like romantic love and emotional love which need to be distinguished when you are writing an essay. If you will be including any of these terms in your letter, you must state it clearly in the essay sample.

Biography of Marco Polo Essay - 765 Words
In 1254, Marco Polo was born in Venice, Italy to a very rich Venetian merchant family. His parents are Nicole Anna Defuseh and Niccolo Polo, but he was raised by extended family. His father and uncle were merchants who traveled a lot, and his mother died when he was six years old. In 1262, Marcoââ¬â¢s father and uncle made an unforgettable journey to Kaifeng, China to meet Kublai Khan, who is the grandson of Genghis Khan. While they were in China, Kubali expressed a great interest in Christianity. He wanted Marcoââ¬â¢s father and uncle to bring one hundred priests and holy water with them when they returned back to China. In 1269, the men returned back to Venice, and immediately made plans for their return, this time bringing Marco along. Once they arrived, it was beyond difficult to become acclimated again. Their faces were now unrecognizable among the people, and their tongue no longer moved in the way of their native language. Soon after, Marco ordered a war against the city of Genoa. He was eventually captured and put into a Genoese prison. He made a friend in prison named, Rustichello. He was a writer. Marco told him about his time spent in China, and Rustichello put it all on paper. His experiences were soon published in his book called The Travels of Marco Polo. After being released from prison, this book turned Marco into quite the celebrity. The book was printed in several different languages including, French, Italian, and Latin, soon becoming the most read book in Europe. Most readers did not believe the stories, and thought of it as a fairytale. Marco stood behind his brilliant knowledge, but moved on with his life. He proceeded to marry the love of his life, and have three daughters. He carried out the fa mily business for twenty five years. Ebola Essay free essay sample
Ebola is the virus Ebolavirus (EBOV), a viral genus, and the disease Ebola hemorrhagic fever (EHF), a viral hemorrhagic fever (VHF). The virus is named after the Ebola River Valley in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaire), which is near the site of the first recognized outbreak in 1976 at a mission hospital run by Flemish nuns. It has remained largely obscure until 1989 when several widely publicized outbreaks occurred among monkeys in the United States. The virus interferes with the interior cells lining the surface of blood vessels and with blood clotting. As the blood vessel walls become damaged and destroyed, the platelets are unable to clot and patients fall into to hypovolemic shock. Ebola is transmitted through bodily fluids, while conjunctiva exposure may also lead to transmission. There are five recognized species within the Ebolavirus genus, which have a number of specific strains. The Zaire virus is the type species, which is also the first discovered and the most lethal. We will write a custom essay sample on Ebola Essay or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page Ebola hemorrhagic fever is potentially lethal and encompasses a range of symptoms including fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, generalized pain or malaise, and sometimes internal and external bleeding. The span of time from onset of symptoms to death is usually between 2 and 21 days. By the second week of infection, patients will either defervesce (the fever will lessen) or undergo systemic multi-organ failure. Mortality rates are typically high, with the human case-fatality rate ranging from 50 to 89%, depending on the species or viral strain. The cause of death is usually due to hypovolemic shock or organ failure. Unfortunately there is no standard treatment for Ebola hemorrhagic fever. Vaccines have successfully protected non-human primates; however, the six months needed to complete immunization made it impractical in an epidemic. In 2003 a vaccine using an adenoviral vector carrying the Ebola spike protein was tested on crab-eating macaques. The monkeys were challenged with the virus twenty-eight days later, and remained resistant. Outbreaks of Ebola, with the exception of Reston Ebolavirus, have mainly been restricted to Africa. * The Zaire virus, formerly named Zaire Ebolavirus, has the highest case-fatality rate, up to 90% in some epidemics, with an average case fatality rate of approximately 83% over 27 years. The first outbreak took place on 26 August 1976 in Yambuku. * The Sudan Ebolavirus was the second species of Ebola emerging simultaneously with the Zaire virus. It was believed to have originated amongst cotton factory workers in Nzara, Sudan. The most recent outbreak occurred in May 2004 in Yambio County, Sudan. The average fatality rates for SEBOV were 54% in 1976, 68% in 1979, and 53% in 2000 and 2001. * The Reston Ebolavirus was discovered during an outbreak of Simian hemorrhagic fever virus (SHFV) in crab-eating macaques from Hazleton Laboratories (now Covance) in 1989. Since the initial outbreak in Reston, Virginia, it has emerged in Siena Italy, Texas, and among pigs in the Philippines. Despite its status as a Level-4 organism, it is non-pathogenic to humans although hazardous in monkeys. The Ivory Coast Ebolavirus also referred to as Tai Ebolavirus, was first discovered among chimpanzees from the Tai Forest in Cote dIvoire, Africa, on 1 November 1994. * On November 24, 2007, the Uganda Ministry of Health confirmed an outbreak of Ebolavirus in the Bundibugyo District. A study conducted by WHO and Uganda Ministry of Health scientists determined there were 116 confirmed and probable cases of the Bundibugyo Ebolavirus, and that the outbreak had a mortality rate of 34% (39 deaths). Plants, arthropods, and birds have been considered as possible reservoirs; however, bats are considered the most likely candidate. Bats were known to reside in the cotton factory in which the index cases for the 1976 and 1979 outbreaks were employed, and they have also been implicated in Marburg infections in 1975 and 1980. The stated evidence above proves the contention of this essay is correct, the contention being; historically Ebola has had a serious impact on human health and hygiene and still does due to the fact of no cure being discovered, but because of improvements in scientific and medical knowledge it is now a controllable problem.

Smiling at the Simplicity of It free essay sample
I walk to the center of the stage, the microphone stand a mere three inches from my mouth, taking the plastic between my fingers as the piano starts playing. I take a deep breath, tapping my foot to the beat, smiling to myself as I sing the first verse. I lose myself, forgetting for the slightest second that there are people in front of me listening to everything that comes out of my mouth. Iââ¬â¢m in my own little world, singing solely for the pleasure that comes with expressing myself, never mind that people are actually watching me. Before I realize whatââ¬â¢s happening, the piano stops playing and the crowd is applauding. I smile, look down to the first row, and lock eyes with this little girl about six or seven years old, standing in front of her seat clapping up at me. I canââ¬â¢t help but stare. We will write a custom essay sample on Smiling at the Simplicity of It or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page She looks more like me than anyone Iââ¬â¢ve ever seen. She has the same dimples. The same brown hair down to the middle of her back. Sheââ¬â¢s jumping from foot to foot like I always used to do, her eyes somehow finding a way to watch everything in the auditorium at the same time. And I remember when I was that little. When I was learning how to do addition and how to write and how to sing. And then the stage transforms around me. Iââ¬â¢m back in this classroom with at least twenty-five other people, all first-graders except the man standing in the front of the room. I watch from the back as little me rushes to the magic carpet with all the other kids and sits somewhere in the middle of the only bench, around the exact same spot where I used to sit. The man presses the play button and the music starts, Phil Collinsââ¬â¢s voice being over taken by the chorus of six year olds. I hear one voice in particular that Iââ¬â¢ve come well acquainted with, one that Iââ¬â¢ve come to love. And I canââ¬â¢t help but smile at where it all started. At how the simplicity of karaoke used to be enough. The song ends and the singing stops, the room fading more and more back into a stage every time I blink. I look back to the front row, but the little girl is leaving, walking away hand in hand with her mother who looks nothing like mine, her small back to me, practically running just to keep up. I walk to the edge of the stage and sit down, resting on my hands as the doors swing shut behind the last member of the audience, slamming the way they always have. I take a deep breath and smile, biting my lip as I remember the rush that came with singing. And the serenity that followed it. I run my fingers through my hair and push myself up from the floor, walking back towards the center of the stage, next to the microphone instead of behind it. I put my hands into my back pockets and sing as loud as my lungs will let me, my voice reaching the back of the auditorium with little-to-no effort. When I get to the final verse I stop singing and listen as the room becomes silent once again, smiling at the simplicity of it.

management Information Systems essays
management Information Systems essays Running a business on your own requires a whole lot of work. One has to set their own hours and be their own boss. Yeah that may sound like fun, but speaking from experience its hand full. The high percentage of business failures clearly shows that while the intentions of wanting to run a successful business are good, the carrying out process is poor. Its almost like building a house without a blueprint and you'll have a lopsided construction that could crumple at any given time. Run a business with the same approach, and you'll get a similar result. If you're going to do it, do it right. One of the most important factors in running a business is knowing how to interpret data. One must know how to turn insignificant numbers into valuable information. As the owner of an aircraft component manufacturer I come across sheets and sheets of data that I must convert to significant information. To help you better understand the process Ive attached our most recent orders and suppliers data form, and I will explain the steps to follow so that you can turn those numbers into information. Here are the steps you need to consider: First you need to study the data, and understand what each number represents. Then you have to choose what factors are necessary for comparison to help improve your business. The first thing I chose to compare was the number of times I opted to use each company. To do this all we need to use is the name of each vendor. An easy way to count how many times they are on the list is to sort the data by vendor number. That gives you every vendor in order. This process will tell you which Vendor is more popular with my firm. I discovered that Fast-Tie Aerospace is the vendor me buy most often from. This will help my company discover where all our shopping is done. Second, I wanted to discover if I was doing the right thing by buying most of my supplies from Fast-Tie Aerospace. The...

Ethics Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words - 18
Ethics - Essay Example register required knowing the numbers item numbers for grains and produce; the customers were supposed to write them down, but many of them neglected this rule, and as such it was dependent on the cashier to either memorize or run and find the number when the customer forgot. Subsequently, during the busy periods the lines got long, and I had to rely on Joyce to help me with the item numbers. In addition to the item numbers, she helped me out with all the small things about the job that you donââ¬â¢t learn in training ââ¬â which were the important managers, when to pretend youââ¬â¢re working hard, and when to slack off. Over the first few weeks we became very close and Joyce introduced me to her family. She had two daughters she was taking care by herself, as her husband had left her a few years earlier. One day Joyce came in visually distressed and wouldnââ¬â¢t tell me what was wrong. During our break I ate with her and finally got her to tell me the problem. She told m e that she had come on difficult times of late, as her husband had stopped paying child support and she was facing eviction from her apartment. Joyce was considerably older than me and I didnââ¬â¢t have much experience in these situations, but I felt very bad for her situation, and consoled her and told her that Iââ¬â¢m sure things would be all right. The next day I worked Joyce was in and she seemed better. I noticed that she was much more standoffish than she had previously been, and I thought that maybe she just didnââ¬â¢t want to discuss what she told me before. During one of the busy periods one of Joyceââ¬â¢s daughters came through the checkout line, and I noticed Joyce not charging her for a number of items and place them in a bag. I wasnââ¬â¢t sure if I had seen the incident accurately, so I chose not to say anything. The next day I worked I watched Joyce closely and noticed that during the same time her daughter came through again, and Joyce similarly didnââ¬â¢t charge her for the items. At this point I was

Method of Implementing QoS Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words
Method of Implementing QoS - Essay Example Data loss, delays are few of the events that could take place as a result of absence of quality of service mechanism. The categorization is as a result of number of considerations that are taken into account namely the Mac address, the ports both Ethernet and T.C.P. Various methods are available for implementing Q.O.S. All have their own advantages and drawbacks and most of them do serve up the purpose of improving overall performance of the network through specific means. The good point about Q.O.S is the fact that they can prioritize both the voice and data communication. However it is often noted that the real need for bandwidth adjustment arises in case of data traffic. Q.O.S in simple words is a protecting shield and an assurance of its kind which provides smooth and constant flow no matter how heavy the resources are. Integrated Services model, best effort model are few of the mechanisms used for this purpose. All these mechanisms are devised for accommodating data traffic prim arily. The entire T.C.P traffic is at disposal of the quality of service and since nearly all of the traffic is passed through T.C.P layer, therefore need of an effective quality of service tool is unavoidable. Best effort mechanism: There are number of Q.O.S approaches that provide one particular line choosing decision. The best effort mechanism is comparatively better in this regard since it enables the users and servers with multiple paths option. This bunch of paths is well planned out, equally calculated and with all the constraints in mind is screened out to ensure best possible transmission over even a densely populated linkage (Smith & Aceves, 2000). The default nature of Best effort scheme: Default mechanism is followed in the scheme which can be termed as its strength as well as weakness at the same time. In some cases it is even referred to as no Q.O.S due to its first in first out and no separation behavior. This default scheme is followed across both the switches and ro uters. Sensitivity consideration is partially compromised in this form of quality service provision. Strength: The strength enjoyed by this scheme is the manner in which the entire route and its model are designed. With nearly all the traffic being packet enabled, best effort serves well fulfilling the requirements of the network especially the bandwidth hungry resources. Weakness: Weaknesses can be identified in case of only one link to a respective linage. With modern times putting up the challenges of further high bandwidth interfaces, multiple paths to a single source are the order of the day. The possible draw back in this form of servicing is the possibility of loss of data elements (usually packets) on the way. Scalability can be an issue in all kinds of Q.O.S. Since increasing number of users and channels demand more bandwidth hence the performance is directly influenced by the scalable capacity. The constraint that would be needed to be taken into account would be the avail ability of heavy bandwidth in the background so as to provide smooth flow to the dedicated paths set up. To some experts mainly Cisco, a dedicated over 20 percent bandwidth must be kept in store for the best effort scheme. Any less percentage of capacity could seriously drain out the entire network and hence this mechanism would not live up to its desired purpose. Another problem that could arise in this form of s
